Meet The Therapist

Hi! I’m Kylee. A licensed therapist. A mama just like you. A Highly Sensitive Mama. A survivor of postpartum anxiety. A mental health warrior.

Hey There, I’m Kylee.

I am a mama to a rambunctious KINDERGARTENER (how did this happen?!?!), wife to my college sweetheart, a licensed marriage and family therapist, a highly sensitive person and a survivor of my own difficult postpartum journey.

I am passionate about helping moms, just like you, gain the skills and confidence to take control of your mental health so you can live a life you actually want to live that’s full of joy and fulfillment. I am here to help you be more present and less overwhelmed in your motherhood.

I love a good book, some dark chocolate and a warm cup of tea.

Whether you decide to work with me for therapy services, you come hang out with me on social media or just take a peek at the blog - my hope is every interaction leaves you feeling more capable, more inspired and more encouraged to take control of your mental health so you can live the life you want. My goal is to help you feel like you can do it - because you can, mama. You are strong. You have everything you need within you, I’m here to help you access it and use it to create a life you enjoy and to be the parent you want to be.

I can help you. You’re not alone. You’ve come to the right place. You can feel better. You can be more present. You can actually enjoy your motherhood instead of wanting to run away and hide. It’s all within you.

Some Things I’m Passionate About.

1) Motherhood doesn’t mean putting everyone's need ahead of your own and never having time or space for yourself. You deserve love and the time it takes to love yourself well.

2) Helping highly sensitive moms and their partners learn that being sensitive is so much more than feeling overwhelm and it has so many strengths in life and in parenthood. See my blog post about this here.

3) Adjusting to new parenthood can be a struggle - but it doesn’t have to be. I’m passionate about helping birthing people and their partners through this transition so you can come out of it feeling strong, capable and loving your life and your parenthood.

4) Helping mamas and their partners learn to connect with their little ones through simple daily moments without feeling the need to be a perfect Pinterest parent.

5) Cultivating community among parents. It truly does take a village - for our children and for us. We need each other. We need a safe, supportive, encouraging community. I’m passionate about creating that.

Who I Can Help.

1) Mamas who feel constantly overwhelmed and like they never have a moment to themselves.

2) Moms who constantly wonder if they're doing anything right and want to feel confident and in control.

3) Moms who want to connect and play with their little one, but just don’t know how.

4) Moms who often feel exhausted and just want to learn how to feel better.

5) Moms who feel alone and are seeking connection but struggling to find it. From other parents. From their partner. From their family. From someone who gets it and cares.

6) Moms and couples who want to learn a new way of parenthood. One where things are more simple and where your needs matter too.

7) Mamas and couples who are ready to show up for themselves so they can grow, heal and step into the powerful parent they are deep inside!

8) Couples who are pregnant or have recently had a child and want to work on increasing communication, connection and understanding within their relationship.
