It was wonderful and I was engaged the entire time, which is rare for a training that long! Great job!

Just wanted to share how much I enjoyed the training. I feel excited and inspired to try some of the new tools/strategies and I love the reminder and the push to actually be doing these experiential exercises in session. I have some ACT workbooks but this was the first actual ACT training that I’ve done and I just really connected with it and also found you to be a very clear and helpful teacher and can imagine you are a wonderful therapist. Thank you!

Yes! One of the great things about ACT is there are so many different applications and techniques of the theory into practice. I introduce a TON of techniques and have had providers who have attended previous ACT trainings report they got a lot out of this training!

Me! Kylee Nelson. Hi There.
I’ve spent my career working with children and families starting in 2013 in community mental health (case manager through graduate school then as a therapist) and in January 2020 started this practice focusing exclusively on Perinatal Mental Health. For the past 3 years I’ve been using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help moms and I’m passionate about helping other providers feel more confident using this approach with this population of clients.
I’m also a mama myself and was inspired to work with this population after experiencing perinatal anxiety & OCD symptoms and struggling to find specialized support from a provider who was trained and understood what I was going through. That’s what led me to specialize in perinatal mental health.
